The main goal of the Music program is to enable students to communicate in ways that go beyond their oral language abilities. With a focus on Creating and Making musical pieces; and Exploring and Responding to various stimuli.
For both logistical and environmental reasons as well as to improve student engagement, music homework has gone online. It is still expected that your child practices his/her instrument for the times displayed below. However, instead of homework being done within books it can simply be completed online by visiting the music blog.
Students simply move their mouse over their year level tab and then click on the homework page. Here students will find both homework resources and practice checklists. The shift to move homework online will allow for backing tracks, instructional videos and more engaging homework to be posted for students to complete.
If you have any queries or are having difficulty accessing the music blog please contact the school for more information
